Star Wars: The Last Jedi – The Last Days of Yoda and Leia will air in the UK on Monday, May 26, 2018, on the BBC2 drama series Star Wars.
The Star Wars saga will end with a spectacular climax as Yoda, Leia and their new apprentice Luke Skywalker face off against the evil Darth Vader in the climax of The Last Day.
The final scene will see Luke and Leia embrace and kiss on the roof of the Imperial Palace.
The show is the UK’s biggest scripted series ever.
It is the second Star Wars television series to air on BBC One, after the Star Wars Rebels series which was broadcast on Sky Atlantic.BBC1 will air the finale on Monday June 1, 2018.
The UK’s premiere of the show is set for Monday, April 9, 2019.
The BBC1 drama series is available to stream on the internet and in HD and will be broadcast on BBC Two on Sunday, April 10, 2019 at 10:00pm.
The BBC’s official Star Wars website will also be hosting a special preview of the episode on Monday.BBC Two will broadcast the final episodes of The Force Awakens on Monday May 13, 2019, and the UK premiere of Star Wars VII: The Force Awakens on Saturday May 20, 2019 on BBC Four.
The finale of The Empire Strikes Back will be aired on Monday August 5, 2019 in the United States, marking the first time the original trilogy has been broadcast on a major network.
